Project & Infrastructure Context
North Hykeham Relief Road (£150m+ Dual Carriageway Infrastructure Project) — Lead commercial and contractual management on the landmark North Hykeham Relief Road project in Lincolnshire, delivering a major 8km dual carriageway scheme under NEC contract.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial and contractual aspects from initial cost planning to final account
- Control project costs, maximise value for money, and protect commercial margins
- Prepare, negotiate, and administer subcontract packages, compensation events, and variations
- Provide commercial reports and forecasts to the Project Director and Lincolnshire County Council
Required Qualifications & Experience
- BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying. Member of RICS, ICES or CIOB. Proven experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor on major civil engineering/highways projects.
