Project & Infrastructure Context
Power Transmission & Distribution — High Voltage Substation Build (33kV to 400kV) — Install and assemble high-voltage plant and equipment across a growing portfolio of substation projects throughout Scotland.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Install and assemble HV plant from 33kV to 400kV including transformers, busbars, and disconnectors
- Erect aluminium and steel structures, earthing grids, and cable containment systems
- Work safely on live substation environments in accordance with SSEN and Scottish Power rules
- Assist commissioning teams with pre-energisation testing and inspection
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in substation installation works. CPCS/CSCS/ECS card or equivalent. Ability to work away on site across Scotland.
