Project & Operational Scope
We're looking for a Civil Design Engineer - Water to join our team based in Gerrards Cross.
This is an exciting opportunity to produce compliant designs associated with utilities and waste water treatment plants and networks.
You'll work on diverse civil designs including duct routes and chambers, equipment bases, drainage, switchgear buildings, and upgrade work at combined sewer overflows, sewage treatment sites, and pumping stations.
This role offers the chance to coordinate across.
Core Responsibilities & Impact
- Deliver high-standard engineering, technical, and operational execution in line with Kier safety, sustainability, and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, client stakeholders, design partners, and supply chain specialists to ensure milestone adherence.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, CDM guidelines, industry technical standards, and environmental requirements.
- Champion continuous improvement, value engineering, digital delivery, and best practice across the scheme lifecycle.
Professional Experience & Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
- Demonstrated background within UK infrastructure, construction, civil engineering, water frameworks, or transportation projects.
- Strong communication, team collaboration, problem-solving, and technical project delivery capabilities.
- Commitment to safety leadership, collaborative working, and high-performance delivery.
Compensation & Employee Benefits Guidance
Estimated Remuneration: GBP £42,000 - £58,000 per annum (commensurate with skills and experience)
