Project & Infrastructure Context
Ground Engineering Business Unit — Digital Construction & Process Automation — Provide strategic leadership and oversight over all digitalization and technology initiatives across Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering, optimizing work winning, engineering design, and site delivery.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Evaluate operational processes and implement digital tools to automate workflows and eliminate waste
- Lead adoption of advanced BIM, reality capture, IoT sensors, and mobile site management systems
- Build strong relationships with regional engineering heads and executive leadership
- Formulate digital business cases and measure productivity return on technology investments
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Recognised background in construction, engineering, or civil technology management. Demonstrable track record deploying digital transformation tools (AutoDesk Construction Cloud, Power Automate, ERP, GIS).
