Project & Context
Major mixed-use gigaproject & integrated transport system in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead portfolio-wide safety assurance across transport systems from design through operations
- Define safety assurance lifecycle including V&V, safety risk, governance, evidence, and ALARP compliance
- Ensure system safety risks are tolerable and meet recognized standards (EN 50126/28/29, ISO 26262)
- Coordinate independent safety assessors (ISA), audits, and technical approval submissions
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Director-level system safety engineering leader with extensive railway/transit experience
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) with degree in Systems, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
- Deep expertise in EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129 and CSM-RA
