Project & Context
Curzon Street station £800m HS2 project in Birmingham city centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and oversee project sustainability and environmental strategy and implementation
- Lead production, maintenance, and compliance of Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and EMS
- Ensure compliance with HS2 Environmental Minimum Requirements (EMR): Code of Construction Practice, Heritage, Planning, and Environmental Memorandums
- Lead environmental incident and complaints investigations
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or Civil/Environmental Engineering
- IEMA Full Membership / Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv)
- Extensive experience with UK major infrastructure environmental compliance and HS2 EMR
