Project & Infrastructure Context
Power Transmission & Distribution — Geospatial Grid Infrastructure Mapping — Support GIS systems and deliver spatial datasets, dashboards, and cartographic outputs for major overhead power line and cable route projects across Scotland.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Create and manage GIS data layers, web maps, and dashboards using ArcGIS Online / ArcGIS Pro
- Liaise with environmental, design, and site survey teams to integrate land and asset information
- Deliver spatial analysis for route planning, environmental constraints, and landowner consultations
- Maintain spatial data quality and ensure compliance with project GIS governance
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in GIS, Geospatial Science, Geography, or related discipline. Practical experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online/Portal, and geospatial data management.
