Project & Infrastructure Context
Power Transmission & Distribution — High Voltage Overhead Lines (400kV OHL) — Lead the Development and Design capability of our Overhead Lines (OHL) Team in the Power T&D business. Own the Design Delivery process in accordance with Group Minimum Engineering Expectations (GMEE) requirements.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Own the OHL / Structures technical input for forward workload and tender work-winning activities
- Resource all live transmission projects with suitably skilled design engineers to deliver on time, cost, and quality
- Drive Global Practice integration with GCC engineering teams to enhance technical capacity
- Set strategic technical direction, standardisation, and continuous improvement for OHL tower and foundation designs
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Civil, Structural, or Electrical Power Engineering. Chartered membership (ICE, IEEE, IMechE or IET). Substantial experience in high-voltage power transmission (National Grid / SSE specifications).
