Key Responsibilities & Scope
The role / impactXero is building the shared platform services that will sit underneath some of our most important product and technology bets. As the Head of Product for AI Shared Services, you will lead the strategy and execution of platform areas such as Eventing, Communications, and Search among others, shaping the next generation of products and standards that teams across Xero rely on.This is a chance to turn fragmented tools and experiments into coherent, reusable capabilities, so Xeros spend less time rebuilding foundations and more time delivering value to Xero’s customers. It is a high impact, high visibility role, with plenty of scope to learn, shape, and grow.The team / how they connectThis team looks after the platform foundations that power AI capabilities across Xero, working closely with Product, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, Data and Operations. Candidate Qualifications & Profile
- Proven experience operating within high-impact industry or enterprise environments.
- Relevant degree or recognized professional accreditation in Cloud Accounting & SaaS.
- Strong collaborative problem-solving skills and dedication to technical or operational excellence.
Compensation Guidance (AUD)
Salary Range: AUD $1,05,000 - $1,41,750 / year (commensurate with skills & experience).
- Includes standard Australian statutory superannuation (11.5%+), health & wellness allowances, and professional progression pathways.
