Role Responsibilities

The Information Manager will manage and coordinate the project data and documentation, ensuring compliance and consistency across the project.

You will be responsible for managing the deliverables to the Common Data Environment (CDE) in line with the information requirements, and ensuring compliance with all established processes and standards. You will support the Framework Senior Information Manager in embedding digital/BIM information management processes, and supporting project teams and the supply chain in adopting lean, innovative digital ways of working.

Working closely with the project teams, you will establish assurance requirements, ensure compliance with ISO 19650 standards, and enable a digitally led approach to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and communicate all project data and documentation

Coordinate all activities in line with the Information Management Plan.

Provide training, support, and guidance to project teams and supply chain partners

Support the Framework Senior Information Manager with adherence to established information requirements and governance, ensuring alignment with ISO 19650.

Implement digital/BIM information management processes that reduce duplication and inefficiency

Liaise with the client and stakeholders to ensure consistency and compliance

Support the adoption of lean and innovative digital working practices

Take an active role in Information management reporting via dashboards

Provide onboarding for new members of Supply Chain

Provide training on the processes and procedures in place

Line management of Information Coordinators assigned to the project.

Assist the Senior Information Manager with the archiving of information in line with the Data Retention and Archiving strategy.

Updating of Task Information Delivery Plans for the Project Team and assisting the Senior Information Manager with collection and collation.

Security minded approach to processing and handling all information and correspondence, in line with established requirements for each classification and level of sensitivity.

Maintaining regular communication and good rapport with the Client’s Information Management team and proactively resolving any issues or queries that arise.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

We’re looking for an experienced Information Manager with strong technical knowledge of CDE platforms and BIM standards to support the Framework Senior Information Manager.

Experience working with OFFICIAL and OFFICIAL-SENSITIVE information, and associated handling requirements.

Diverse and clear communication skills with experience of effective communication with multidisciplinary design teams, client teams, subcontractors, and the wider supply chain.

Experience of working on projects with large volumes of data and information from various sources.

Ability to handle a variety of situations at one given time, and to do so efficiently.

Competent system administrator level user of Viewpoint for Projects, or strong experience within another Electronic Document Management System (i.e. Asite).

Solid understanding of ISO19650 and a working knowledge of how it is adhered to across the lifecycle of a project.

Proficiency in collaborative data environments such as Viewpoint for Projects

Knowledge of BS EN ISO 19650 standards

Understanding of quality management systems and digital handover processes

Experience with design tools such as Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks

Additional experience (beneficial, but not essential):

Other CDEs (e.g. Asite, Business Collaborator, BIM 360)

Autodesk Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Recap

Other CAD/BIM software (e.g. Asta Powerproject, Synchro)

Data analytics tools such as Power BI

Key Qualifications & Candidate Profile

  • Relevant technical qualifications in Construction Management, Commercial Surveying, or relevant technical trade.
  • Proven track record operating on UK construction sites or major infrastructure frameworks.
  • Knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental standards (CDM regulations, CSCS, IOSH/NEBOSH).
  • Strong communication, team coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation & Benefits Guidance

Estimated Remuneration: GBP £45,000 - £65,000 per annum (competitive market rate commensurate with experience)
