Role Overview

You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY GENERAL ENGINEER/CIVIL ENGINEER/MECHANICAL ENGINEER in the N44 READINESS AND LOGISTICS DIRECTORATE, INFRASTRUCTURE BRANCH of CTR FOR AVIATION TECHNL TRNG.

Basic Requirements & Qualifications

for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Manages large scale projects, timely project execution, design, and acts as a construction contract liaison providing site coordination, quality assurance, project closeout/acceptance, and oversight of team assignments; 2) Prepares detailed scopes of work, cost estimates, contract packages, and schedules for facility modifications, equipment installations, and customer initiatives; 3) Develops and implements policies and methods to employ business planning analysis, achieve mandatory project validation standards, and evaluate economic alternatives to determine best economic solutions; 4) Assists subordinate command staff in identifying and supporting data used to analyze current requirements; and 5) Utilizes knowledge of multiple engineering or scientific disciplines to investigate, recommend and develop new processes to improve efficiency, facilities, training and performance. You will serve as Senior Level Engineer, Project Manager, and Team Leader in the N44 Readiness and Logistics Directorate, Infrastructure Branch under the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training (CNATT), Naval Education and Training Command.

This position reports directly to the N4 Director of Readiness and Logistics.

You will be responsible for team workload planning; project development including concept, planning, design, scope, and budget on a wide-variety of facility and infrastructure sustainment, to include modernization projects, customer-driven upgrades

And equipment installation projects.

You will ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental regulations, including, but not limited to: Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), USACE Engineer Manual (EM-385) and

All related state and federal air quality regulations, etc.

You will be responsible for resolving critical problems and developing new approaches or methods in dealing with program management.
