Expression of Interest – Water Industry Professionals Shape the Future of Water Infrastructure with Kier Design Are you working in the water industry and looking for your next challenge? At Kier Design , we're growing our Water Engineering capability and are keen to hear from talented professionals across the water sector.
Whether your experience is in clean water, wastewater, networks, treatment, process engineering, MEICA, civil engineering, design management or project delivery, we'd love to start a conversation.
This expansion is driven by significant growth across water company frameworks and long-term investment in the regulated water market.
Core Responsibilities & Impact
- Deliver high-standard engineering, technical, and operational execution in line with Kier safety, sustainability, and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, client stakeholders, design partners, and supply chain specialists to ensure milestone adherence.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, CDM guidelines, industry technical standards, and environmental requirements.
- Champion continuous improvement, value engineering, digital delivery, and best practice across the scheme lifecycle.
Professional Experience & Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or relevant technical field.
- Demonstrated background within UK infrastructure, construction, civil engineering, water frameworks, or transportation projects.
- Strong communication, team collaboration, problem-solving, and technical project delivery capabilities.
- Commitment to safety leadership, collaborative working, and high-performance delivery.
Compensation & Employee Benefits Guidance
Estimated Remuneration: GBP £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (commensurate with skills and experience)
