Project & Operational Scope
We're looking for a Preconstruction Manager to join our Building Solutions South team based in London / South / Hybrid.
Kier Places are recruiting for a Preconstruction Manager to join our Building Solutions South team, particularly focused in London and reporting to the Senior Preconstruction Manager.
With our diverse portfolio of projects coming online, we are looking for an individual who has passion for preconstruction lead activities whilst also being able to work as part of a close-knit team.
You will support the Senior Pre-Construction Manager to.
Core Responsibilities & Impact
- Deliver high-standard engineering, technical, and operational execution in line with Kier safety, sustainability, and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, client stakeholders, design partners, and supply chain specialists to ensure milestone adherence.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, CDM guidelines, industry technical standards, and environmental requirements.
- Champion continuous improvement, value engineering, digital delivery, and best practice across the scheme lifecycle.
Professional Experience & Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or relevant technical field.
- Demonstrated background within UK infrastructure, construction, civil engineering, water frameworks, or transportation projects.
- Strong communication, team collaboration, problem-solving, and technical project delivery capabilities.
- Commitment to safety leadership, collaborative working, and high-performance delivery.
Compensation & Employee Benefits Guidance
Estimated Remuneration: GBP £42,000 - £58,000 per annum (commensurate with skills and experience)
