Project & Operational Scope

We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Highways team based in Suffolk.

Kier is looking for a Roadworks/Highways Project Manager to join a highly successful team in the delivery of a Highways project, valued at circa £120m.

The successful candidate will come from a strong highways background with previous earthworks experience and be able to adapt between multiple disciplines.

You'll be responsible for supporting the senior leadership team,.

Core Responsibilities & Impact

Deliver high-standard engineering, technical, and operational execution in line with Kier safety, sustainability, and quality benchmarks.
Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, client stakeholders, design partners, and supply chain specialists to ensure milestone adherence.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, CDM guidelines, industry technical standards, and environmental requirements.
Champion continuous improvement, value engineering, digital delivery, and best practice across the scheme lifecycle.

Professional Experience & Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or relevant technical field.
Demonstrated background within UK infrastructure, construction, civil engineering, water frameworks, or transportation projects.
Strong communication, team collaboration, problem-solving, and technical project delivery capabilities.
Commitment to safety leadership, collaborative working, and high-performance delivery.

Estimated Remuneration: GBP £42,000 - £58,000 per annum (commensurate with skills and experience)
