Project & Operational Scope
We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Building Solutions South team based in Sheffield Location: Sheffield Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 - 40 hours a week certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Building Solutions North team.
You'll be managing commercial resources to maximise planned gross margin through the placement and control of contracts and subcontracts.
The successful candidate will be working from site or office 3+ days per week, playing a vital role in delivering high quality projects.

Core Responsibilities & Impact
- Deliver high-standard engineering, technical, and operational execution in line with Kier safety, sustainability, and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, client stakeholders, design partners, and supply chain specialists to ensure milestone adherence.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, CDM guidelines, industry technical standards, and environmental requirements.
- Champion continuous improvement, value engineering, digital delivery, and best practice across the scheme lifecycle.
Professional Experience & Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or relevant technical field.
- Demonstrated background within UK infrastructure, construction, civil engineering, water frameworks, or transportation projects.
- Strong communication, team collaboration, problem-solving, and technical project delivery capabilities.
- Commitment to safety leadership, collaborative working, and high-performance delivery.
Compensation & Employee Benefits Guidance
Estimated Remuneration: GBP £42,000 - £58,000 per annum (commensurate with skills and experience)
