Project & Operational Scope
As a Senior Engineer within our Professional Services Team, you'll play a key role in delivering strategic and technical leadership to highways clients.
You'll be working on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), guiding highways technology schemes from initial concept through to preliminary design.

What will you be responsible for? As a Senior Engineer, you'll be working within the Professional Services team, supporting them in delivering innovative and legacy highways technology solutions.
Your day to day will include: Leading highways technology.
Core Responsibilities & Impact
- Deliver high-standard engineering, technical, and operational execution in line with Kier safety, sustainability, and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, client stakeholders, design partners, and supply chain specialists to ensure milestone adherence.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, CDM guidelines, industry technical standards, and environmental requirements.
- Champion continuous improvement, value engineering, digital delivery, and best practice across the scheme lifecycle.
Professional Experience & Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
- Demonstrated background within UK infrastructure, construction, civil engineering, water frameworks, or transportation projects.
- Strong communication, team collaboration, problem-solving, and technical project delivery capabilities.
- Commitment to safety leadership, collaborative working, and high-performance delivery.
Compensation & Employee Benefits Guidance
Estimated Remuneration: GBP £55,000 - £78,000 per annum (commensurate with skills and experience)
