Project & Context
Mace Legal Department supporting construction business units and major contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Review construction contracts received with client tenders to identify risks to Mace
- Negotiate and draft construction contracts and supply chain step-down contracts
- Advise commercial teams on contract review, execution, and ad hoc project issues
- Assist in managing and mitigating potential dispute situations and insurance notifications
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 2-3 years PQE qualified lawyer in England & Wales or recognized jurisdiction
- Strong knowledge of JCT, NEC and bespoke forms of construction contract
