Project & Context
Mace Rail team supporting delivery of major Network Rail infrastructure programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide commercial leadership across major rail infrastructure projects from pre-contract through final account
- Administer contracts, manage compensation events, variations, and change control (NR Suite / NEC)
- Monitor project costs, cash flow forecasts, and present commercial metrics to senior stakeholders
- Support procurement activities, tender evaluations, and dispute avoidance
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive commercial management experience in the UK rail sector with Network Rail standards
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or MRICS
- Strong contract administration skills under NR/NEC contracts
