We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Information Manager to join our team on the Loch Na Cathrach project (SSEN framework), based in either our Glasgow or Inverness offices. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of a growing client portfolio within a digitally led environment, focused on detailed design and construction.
In this role, you will support the Project Manager and Design Management team in the control, governance, and assurance of project information. You will play a critical part in embedding digital engineering and BIM-enabled practices across the full project lifecycle, driving efficiency, compliance, and innovation.

Role Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager in the control, governance, and management of project information.
Manage and operate Document Control systems and Integrated Management Systems (IMS)
Develop, implement, and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) across the full project lifecycle.
Support the delivery and coordination of MIDP and TIDP plans.
Lead model coordination, federation, and interrogation activities, ensuring alignment across all disciplines.
Undertake clash detection, quality assurance checks, and data management activities.
Ensure compliance with information standards, processes, and governance requirements.
Collaborate with project teams, supply chain partners, and stakeholders to define and deliver information requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with digital stakeholders and suppliers.
Support the adoption of digital engineering processes across project teams and site operations.
Manage and support site data capture, reporting, and analysis, connecting digital delivery with on-site activities.
Be accountable for team outputs, managing and mentoring a small team where required.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
HND, Degree or Degree Apprenticeship in a relevant discipline
Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems within project environments
Knowledge of digital handover processes and information delivery requirements
Working knowledge of BS 1192 / PAS 1192 and ISO 19650 standards
Practical experience with Autodesk Revit or Civil 3D
Experience using Autodesk Navisworks for coordination and model review.
Proven ability to manage and assure project information and BIM processes.
Strong understanding of industry standards, compliance, and best practice
Experience working with Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as ProjectWise, Viewpoint, Business Collaborator or BIM 360
Use of Navisworks Manage, Autodesk ReCap, and other BIM tools.
Familiarity with planning and coordination software (e.g. Asta Powerproject, Synchro)
Experience using Power BI for data reporting and analysis.
Previous UK project experience (energy sector experience beneficial but not essential)
Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
Initiative-taking approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

About the Energy Business Unit
We have extensive experience in upgrading and replacing energy networks, delivering asset management for major UK energy companies and network operators.
Our transmission and distribution services involve the upgrading and replacement of electricity assets both above and below ground. Within the electricity sector we install and maintain assets, including excavation, laying, and jointing of cables, (fluid filled and XLPe), substations and overhead line, new build, repair, and refurbishment services.

Key Qualifications & Candidate Profile
- Relevant technical qualifications in Construction Management, Commercial Surveying, or relevant technical trade.
- Proven track record operating on UK construction sites or major infrastructure frameworks.
- Knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental standards (CDM regulations, CSCS, IOSH/NEBOSH).
- Strong communication, team coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
Compensation & Benefits Guidance
Estimated Remuneration: GBP £45,000 - £65,000 per annum (competitive market rate commensurate with experience)
