An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Section Engineer to join a major new rail infrastructure scheme at Wixams Station. Currently in the planning phase, this significant project will progress into mobilisation and delivery, offering the opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering a high-profile Network Rail station development.

Reporting to the Sub-Agent, you will support the planning, mobilisation and execution of works, with a particular focus on enabling works and early project delivery activities.

You will work closely with the wider project team to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and Network Rail standards.

Supporting the planning and mobilisation of project activities.

Assisting in the delivery of enabling works and early construction packages.

Ensuring works are planned and delivered in accordance with MSI processes, procedures and standards.

Maintaining compliance with Network Rail standards and project requirements.

Coordinating with site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to achieve programme objectives.

Contributing to safe and effective project delivery through robust engineering and construction management practices.

Supporting quality, safety and environmental objectives across all phases of the project.

Significant new station scheme being delivered by the Rail Business Unit.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience working in a rail infrastructure environment.

Previous experience on Network Rail projects.

Good working knowledge of Network Rail standards and requirements.

Understanding of civil engineering construction principles and project delivery.

Familiarity with MSI processes, procedures and standards.

Strong planning, organisation and communication skills.

The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project team.

Estimated Remuneration: GBP £45,000 - £65,000 per annum (competitive market rate commensurate with experience)
