Job description

As a functional engineer you will be aligned to the Engineering Function (MEICA), mobilised as part of a project delivery team with responsibility to manage a discipline or scope of work within a multidisciplinary constructionmproject on behalf of the operations/project lead. You will be responsible fordelivering the assigned scope through agreed phases of the project life cycle to reach successful completion, delivering work that meets legislative and projectmrequirements in accordance with Morgan Sindall standards all whilst meetingmcustomer satisfaction criteria. You will play a key role in ensuring Perfect Delivery is achieved whilst also promoting and supporting our People Promise.

Have a working level of Subject Matter Expertise for your primary discipline and/or function.

Have managed discipline scope on multi-disciplined construction projects.

Have been involved in the design of multidisciplinary construction projects.

Have been involved in the planning and reporting of multidisciplinary construction projects.

Have managed and/or been involved in the procurement and construction/commissioning of multidisciplinary projects.

Ideally, have experience in working within a regulated environment. Understand and demonstrate application of required competencies for your primary discipline and/or function.

Qualified to Level 6 or equivalent on the Regulated Qualifications Framework in a MEICA engineering discipline or similar and related technical discipline.

Ideally registered with and participating in an affiliated professional body, e.g., IET, IMechE, CIBSE, etc. for your discipline and/or function, working towards or having Chartered Engineer status.

Specific training in and/or qualification for your primary engineering discipline and ideally for wider discipline and functional understanding and appreciation required to manage a multi-disciplined team.

Estimated Remuneration: GBP £45,000 - £65,000 per annum (competitive market rate commensurate with experience)
