Project & Infrastructure Context
Power Transmission & Distribution — High Voltage Substation & Cabling Projects — Lead high-performing multidisciplinary engineering teams on high-voltage power projects supporting Scotland’s critical energy transition in the North East.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Manage overall project delivery across scope, budget, schedule, safety, and quality
- Lead periodic project reviews (PRM), financial reporting, and digital briefcase updates
- Manage client relationships with SSEN Transmission and key framework partners
- Interrogate engineering designs and challenge delivery assumptions to optimize cost and safety
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven project delivery track record in power transmission, substations, or large-scale civil infrastructure. In-depth knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial management.
