Key Responsibilities & Scope
As a Senior Engineer in our newly formed UK Regional Team, you will deliver the features most critical to Xero’s success in the UK. You will play a vital role in responding to the voice of our customers, ensuring we have the right product for the UK to directly drive business success.You will independently solve complex problems across Xero’s products, ensuring technical excellence while navigating the complexity between regional needs and global roadmaps to deliver maximum value.The team & how they connectYou will join a high-calibre team consisting of an Engineering Manager, Lead Engineers, and Engineers, reporting to the General Manager of Engineering for the UK. The team works as a flexible, versatile team, collaborating with various product owners across Xero to design, build, and ship solutions.The team is currently working on Get ready for diverse, high-impact work that touches every corner of Xero. Candidate Qualifications & Profile
- Proven experience operating within high-impact industry or enterprise environments.
- Relevant degree or recognized professional accreditation in Cloud Accounting & SaaS.
- Strong collaborative problem-solving skills and dedication to technical or operational excellence.
Compensation Guidance (AUD)
Salary Range: AUD $1,40,000 - $1,89,000 / year (commensurate with skills & experience).
- Includes standard Australian statutory superannuation (11.5%+), health & wellness allowances, and professional progression pathways.
