Project & Infrastructure Context
Balvac — Critical Asset Maintenance & Concrete Remediation — Lead and mentor a commercial team managing high-value structural refurbishment, bridge repair, and highway asset strengthening contracts across the UK.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Administrators
- Manage subcontractor accounts, dispute resolution, and commercial change control
- Ensure accurate weekly cost reporting, CVRs, work-in-progress (WIP) tracking, and cash flow
- Advise senior leadership on commercial risk, contract terms, and margin enhancement
Required Qualifications & Experience
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or related field. Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts. Proven track record in structural repair, concrete remediation, or civils.
