Responsibility: Edit high-production performance ads for D2C brands
Reports to: Senior Video Editor Location: Remote
Employment: B2B Contract – UK working hours (with flexibility)
We are seeking an experienced and creative Digital Video Editor to join our growing team at The Soar Group. You will be responsible for producing high-quality video content tailored for social media ads, promotional content and performance marketing across multiple brands. This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce, short-form video trends and platform-specific best practices.

What you'll do
- Edit high-quality videos that align with each brand's style and tone of voice.
- Specialise in social media ads (UGC, motion graphics, high-production content).
- Optimise content for TikTok, Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and other platforms to maximise engagement.
- Work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to implement client feedback effectively.
- Stay up to date with video content trends and conversion-driven editing techniques.
What you'll bring
Please submit a valid portfolio or showreel that demonstrates your expertise.
- Proven experience in video editing and production, preferably within e-commerce.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; ability to use other video editing tools is a plus.
- A deep understanding of TikTok, Meta ads and short-form video best practices.
- Proficiency in applying motion graphics, transitions, captions and colour grading.
- A self-motivated, proactive approach, able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Full ownership of both your successes and failures, with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to see the bigger picture.
- A proactive, solution-oriented and adaptable approach, with exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Confidence building long-term relationships, and the ability to self-manage and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
